This policy describes how Aderet Technologies LLC handles information when you use Touch Grass and this website. Contact us using the details below with questions about your information.
2. Information on your device
Touch Grass stores your preferences, challenge progress, completion history, earned time, app-limit settings, a support identifier, and a record of your acceptance of the terms (version and date) on your device. The app uses Apple’s Screen Time features, with your permission, to apply limits to the apps and categories you choose.
3. Camera and challenge verification
When you use camera verification, image frames and information about your challenge are sent to our verification service, hosted on Amazon Web Services, and processed by OpenAI to assess completion. Your selected language may also be sent to provide a response in that language. Avoid including sensitive information or other people without their permission. You can manage camera access in iOS Settings.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store payments. Touch Grass uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, entitlements, and purchase restoration. These services process purchase information and app-user identifiers needed to provide those features.
5. Service operation and support
Our service processes technical information needed to respond to requests and diagnose problems, including request identifiers, challenge identifiers, verification results, timing, and errors. Hosting providers receive connection information, such as IP addresses. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send.
6. Service providers
We use Amazon Web Services for hosting, OpenAI for challenge verification, and RevenueCat and Apple for purchases. Information is processed by these providers to deliver those features, subject to their terms and privacy practices. Processing may occur in countries other than where you live.
7. Retention and your choices
You can revoke app permissions in iOS Settings and use the app’s data reset controls to remove locally stored progress. Local deletion does not automatically remove provider records or cancel subscriptions. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information processed by our services. The rights available to you depend on where you live.
8. Children’s privacy
Touch Grass is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Camera images and certain technical identifiers can be personal information even when no account is created. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through Touch Grass, contact us using the details below. We will investigate and, if we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, take steps to stop further collection from that child and delete the information, including requesting deletion from service providers as appropriate. Please do not send additional photos of the child when reporting a concern.
9. This website
This informational website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Its fonts and illustrations are served with the site. AWS processes requests to deliver the pages.
