What is Touch Grass?
An iOS app that trades small real-world quests for more time in distracting apps. Set your limits, complete a challenge, and earn a little time back.
Who can use Touch Grass?
Touch Grass is for people aged 13 and older, subject to any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are below the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review the terms with you and give permission. It is not intended for children under 13.
Why does it need Screen Time access?
Touch Grass uses Apple’s Screen Time features to apply the limits you choose. You decide which apps and categories to include and can manage permission in iOS Settings.
Why does it use my camera?
Camera verification checks whether you completed a challenge. Image frames are sent to our service and processed by OpenAI. See the Privacy Policy for more about how this works.
What if a challenge does not verify?
Make sure the requested subject is visible and well lit, then try again. Automated verification can make mistakes. Skip a challenge if it is unsuitable or unsafe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Touch Grass. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases on the app’s subscription screen while signed in to the Apple account used for the original purchase.
